Meet the founder of victorious youth queens

LATOYA HOLLOWAY

LaToya Holloway is a proud Houston native and graduate of Thurgood Marshall High School, Class of 2006. She earned a full athletic scholarship to Southern University and A&M College in Baton Rouge, Louisiana, where she excelled both academically and athletically as a member of the women’s volleyball team. In 2010, LaToya graduated with a Bachelor of Science in Accounting and was honored as the Valedictorian of her graduating class, receiving the university’s highest academic distinction.

Following college, LaToya began a successful career in the energy sector, holding progressive roles at industry leaders such as ExxonMobil, Halliburton, and Chevron. During her corporate tenure, she served as Co-Leader of the Black Employee Network (BEN) Community Engagement Committee and became an active member of the Houston Area Urban League for Young Professionals, championing diversity and community service.

In addition to her professional accomplishments, LaToya is the owner of Luxxe Looks by LaToya Hair Studio, where she offers premium hair and braiding services for clients of all ages. Her commitment to excellence, empowerment, and creativity is evident in both her business and community endeavors.

LaToya is also the proud wife of Don Holloway, Jr. and the devoted mother of two children, Don Holloway, III. and Layla Holloway. Her passion for giving back is deeply rooted in her own personal journey. She often reflects on the vital role her "village" played in shaping her path—through encouragement, wise counsel, and unwavering faith in God. Having overcome challenges such as low self-esteem and lack of confidence, LaToya felt a deep calling to mentor and uplift young girls facing similar obstacles.

Motivated by her own transformative experiences and a heart for service, LaToya co-founded Victorious Youth Queens in February 2017 alongside her husband. Through this initiative, she provides mentorship, encouragement, and access to resources that help youth build confidence, discover purpose, and pursue their dreams. Her mission is simple but powerful: to help others win by becoming the support system she once needed.
